Biographical Info

Tom Isaacs has extensive experience representing a diverse lineup of businesses in class action and general litigation cases, including in product liability, personal injury, commercial, antitrust, regulatory, corporate governance, and business tort matters. Tom has been responsible for all phases of such cases, including pre-litigation claim assessment, development and execution of case strategy, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, expert witness retention and preparation, settlement negotiations and overall case management

In addition, Tom has wide experience serving as discovery counsel representing corporate defendants in several large class actions as well as in product liability, consumer, and commercial litigation. His eDiscovery experience covers topics such as document identification, collection, and production; drafting and implementing litigation holds, clawback agreements and protective orders; briefing and arguing discovery motions; depositions; and evaluating eDiscovery vendors and platforms. He is well-versed with federal and state eDiscovery rules and requirements, and has published numerous articles and spoken at several venues regarding eDiscovery topics.

Professionally, Super Lawyers Magazine selected Tom as a Michigan Rising Star in every year since 2013. He was also appointed an Oakland County Public Administrator by Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette in 2013.
